Who we are

Welcome to Smoke & Cinder where art, functionality, and connection collide in a new appreciation for the humble ashtray. 

Our journey begins with our founder and his devotion to all things crafted and beautiful.  What started as a curiosity sparked into a passion for the ceremony and timeless traditions surrounding smoking and the culture of its roots.  Upon seeing the beauty and nostalgia hidden among smoking’s dubious past, he feels there is something magical to be uncovered from its ashes for the enjoyment of today.  

We believe ashtrays are not just about functionality but what they represent. No other single piece of décor has seen the joys of a celebration, the decompression of a long day, the loss of a loved one, the cheers of victory, the laughter of friends, or the solace of contemplation.

Here at Smoke & Cinder, we celebrate the ashtray as more than just a purposeful object.  To us, it is a symbol of camaraderie, a centerpiece for shared stories, and a canvas for artistic expression.  As a Phoenix rises from the ashes of its past, we too revive these vintage treasures to bring beauty and functionality to a reborn pastime.
